Incheon Metropolitan City Launches ‘Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Childcare’ Short-Form ⁣Contest

Incheon Metropolitan City and the Population, ‍Health and Welfare Association are hosting⁣ the ‘Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Childcare’ short-form contest for ‌the first time this year. The contest aims to share positive experiences related to pregnancy, childbirth, and ⁤childcare ⁣among Incheon ⁢citizens and create a childcare-friendly ⁣environment.

The contest is‍ open to all residents of⁢ Incheon Metropolitan City and will ⁣accept submissions from August 12 to September 22, 2024. Participants are required to⁣ produce and submit a vertical video between 15⁢ and 60 seconds in length. A‍ total of 7 teams will be awarded, with prizes⁢ including a grand prize of 2 million won and a best prize of‍ 1 million won, totaling 4.6 million ⁤won, as well as‌ the Incheon Branch President Award of the Population Health and Welfare Association.

Sihyeon Jeong, ⁤Director of the Women and Family‌ Bureau, ‌expressed her hopes for‌ the contest,‌ stating, “We hope that many citizens will share precious⁣ moments‍ of pregnancy, childbirth, and childrearing, and that this will serve as an opportunity ‌to further spread the childrearing-friendly environment. We ⁣ask‍ for the active⁢ participation of all citizens.”
