Incheon Metropolitan City Launches ‘Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Childcare’ Short-Form Contest

Incheon Metropolitan City and the Population, Health and Welfare Association are hosting the ‘Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Childcare’ short-form contest for the first time this year. The contest aims to share positive experiences related to pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare among Incheon citizens and create a childcare-friendly environment.
The contest is open to all residents of Incheon Metropolitan City and will accept submissions from August 12 to September 22, 2024. Participants are required to produce and submit a vertical video between 15 and 60 seconds in length. A total of 7 teams will be awarded, with prizes including a grand prize of 2 million won and a best prize of 1 million won, totaling 4.6 million won, as well as the Incheon Branch President Award of the Population Health and Welfare Association.

Sihyeon Jeong, Director of the Women and Family Bureau, expressed her hopes for the contest, stating, “We hope that many citizens will share precious moments of pregnancy, childbirth, and childrearing, and that this will serve as an opportunity to further spread the childrearing-friendly environment. We ask for the active participation of all citizens.”
