‘RHOA’ Star Brit Eady Sues Bravo Over Sex Act Allegation
Updated June 7, 2025
Brit Eady, of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is suing Bravo NBCUniversal and production companies for $20 million,
alleging exploitation related to a sexually suggestive image shown during an episode. The lawsuit centers on an
incident at Kenya Moore’s hair spa opening in June 2024.
During the event, moore displayed posters of a woman performing oral sex, which the show framed as a response to
a feud with Eady, who was not present. Viewers and castmates were led to believe the image was of Eady.
Eady’s lawsuit claims producers allowed this narrative to persist, allegedly refusing to show her the photo
despite multiple requests. She alleges Bravo and its partners were aware or negligent in broadcasting the photo
with the implication it was her, resulting in “emotional distress, workplace harassment, and reputational harm.”
The suit accuses the network of defamation, false light, sexual harassment, and creating a hostile work
environment. Eady demands the episode be removed from all platforms and seeks punitive damages of at least $20
million. Her legal team will pursue a default judgment if Bravo and its partners do not respond.
Eady stated on Instagram Stories that she would not attend the “RHOA” reunion, expressing her emotional distress.
“The events of this season have devastated me… I do want to set the record straight about one thing: the graphic
sexual photo surrounding the events in Episode 5. That photo was not me,” she wrote.
She clarified that her reaction was based on what she was told, not what she saw, and confirmed the image was
not her after recently viewing it. “I did not see the photo at the time,” she continued. “Rather, I was made
aware of the photo being presented at the event, and based on what I was told, assumed that it was somehow a
photo of me — which is why I reacted in the way that I did.”
“I do not know who was in that photo, but upon seeing it for the first time recently,I now know it was not
me,” she added.

While not named in the lawsuit, Kenya Moore was suspended from filming for the remainder of Season 16 after an
internal investigation. She later issued a public apology on X, stating, “I take full accountability for my
actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests and viewers.”
Both Moore and Eady reportedly opted out of attending the Season 16 reunion taping, which has yet to air.
What’s next
The legal proceedings will determine the outcome of Eady’s claims against Bravo and the production companies,
possibly setting a precedent for reality television liability.
