Sky Sports Unveils Team for 2025 British & irish Lions Tour Coverage

Sky Sports has announced its commentary and punditry team for the 2025 British & Irish Lions tour to Australia. The team includes former Lions captain Sam Warburton, head coach Warren Gatland, and player Owen Farrell.
Alex Payne will anchor the coverage from the studio, while Eleanor Roper will report from australia. Miles Harrison will lead the commentary team, joined by Dan Biggar.
Ronan O’Gara, Will Greenwood, Kyle Sinckler, Conor Murray, Nolli Waterman, John Barclay, and Sir Ian McGeechan will also contribute to Sky’s coverage of the British & Irish Lions tour.
Warburton will provide in-depth analysis of the 10 games from Sky’s studio, drawing inspiration from Monday Night Football.
When does the Lions tour begin?
Sky Sports’ coverage of the British & irish Lions tour begins June 20 with the Lions facing Argentina in Dublin. The team then heads to Australia, with their first match against Western Force on June 28.
The first test match against Australia is scheduled for July 19 in Brisbane.
