brittany Eady Sues Bravo Over Kenya Moore Photo Drama
Updated June 07, 2025
Brittany Eady, a newcomer to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” is suing Bravo, NBCUniversal, True Original, and Endemol Shine North America for $20 million. The lawsuit stems from an incident during the show’s most recent season where Kenya Moore allegedly displayed a sexually explicit image that Eady claims falsely depicted her, causing meaningful emotional distress and defamation.
The legal action, filed in New York State Supreme court, accuses the defendants of defamation, sexual harassment, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and creating a opposed work habitat. The controversy centers on a June 2024 taping, which aired in April 2025, during an episode titled ”About Last Night.”
Eady’s legal team asserts that Moore displayed posters containing false and defamatory statements about Eady and her occupation, along with the explicit photograph. The lawsuit claims Moore falsely stated that the photograph depicted Eady. Furthermore, the filing alleges that producers ignored Eady’s requests to view the image before the episode aired, showing a reckless disregard for the truth.

Eady addressed the controversy publicly for the first time after filing the suit, confirming her decision not to attend the season 16 reunion. “the events of this season have devastated me,” she stated in an Instagram post. “That photo was not me.” She explained that she initially reacted out of shock, assuming the photo was somehow of her based on secondhand information.
Eady also revealed that the incident nearly cost her an insurance license, contributing to her decision to skip the reunion taping. Following her Instagram post, fans noticed that Eady had removed all “RHOA” references from her social media bio, fueling speculation about her future with the series.

Sources confirmed that Eady chose not to attend the reunion due to tension with castmates, while moore was reportedly not invited. Moore later addressed her absence on social media, stating, “Please no I take full accountability for my actions and deeply apologize to all those affected including Brittney, the cast, crew, guests, and viewers.”
What’s next
The lawsuit is expected to proceed in new York State Supreme Court, with eady seeking damages and accountability from Bravo and the other defendants. The case raises questions about the responsibilities of reality television producers regarding the well-being and reputations of their cast members.
