Dalia Fouad, a well-known Egyptian blogger and broadcaster, was arrested in New Cairo for possession of drugs. Security sources reported that the police found GHP, a drug used in sexual assaults, inside an apartment tied to her.
Following her arrest, the public prosecution ordered Dalia Fouad to remain in detention for four days while investigations continue. Dalia denies the charges, stating, “It’s not mine.” She claims she rented the apartment for six months at a cost of 17 thousand pounds per month and asserts that she had no knowledge of the drugs.
