FAIRBANKS – The NCAA Division I Independent Hockey coaches have announced their selections for the ⁤2024-25 NCAA Division I Independent​ Hockey honorees ‌and all-star teams. Among those recognized is Broten Sabo, a defenseman for ‌the Nanooks, who has earned all-star status.

Broten Sabo’s impressive Season

Sabo’s selection highlights​ his significant contributions to the team’s performance this season. Head coach Erik Largen expressed his enthusiasm,⁤ stating, “It‍ is ‍indeed great to see Broten win this ​award. He is someone who ⁣took a huge step for‌ us this season. Following a rookie year with three points, Sabo significantly​ improved his ⁣performance. As a ⁤blue-liner, he ranked second on the ⁢team in scoring, amassing 21 points from⁣ eight goals⁣ and 13 assists.
