São Paulo, Brazil – Heavy metal icon Bruce Dickinson, best known as the frontman for Iron Maiden, has announced his first solo concert of 2025. Fans in Brazil can catch Dickinson at The Town festival in São Paulo on September 7th.
This announcement comes on the heels of Dickinson’s successful 2024 solo tour, which wrapped up with a performance at the Release festival in Athens, Greece on July 21st. The tour marked Dickinson’s first solo outing in over two decades and featured a setlist packed with fan favorites, including tracks from his latest solo album, “The mandrake Project.”
Dickinson’s 2024 tour saw him backed by a talented lineup of musicians, including Dave Moreno on drums, Mistheria on keyboards, and Tanya O’Callaghan on bass.The band was rounded out by swedish guitarist Philip Näslund and Swiss guitarist Chris Declercq, both of whom contributed to “Rain On The Graves,” the latest single from “The Mandrake Project.”
During an April interview on SiriusXM’s “Trunk nation With eddie Trunk,” Dickinson expressed his desire to bring ”The Mandrake Project” to U.S. audiences.
“I absolutely wanna do a full U.S. tour with ‘The Mandrake Project,'” Dickinson stated. “I obviously can’t do one for the rest of this year [due to commitments in othre parts of the world and Maiden’s upcoming touring activities], but there’s ’25 and there’s numerous opportunities that will crop up. so the answer to that is yes, of course, we wanna come and do the U.S.”
