BTC has officially launched its first vending machine for gold and silver ingots and coins in Egypt at the Nile City Towers Mall in Cairo, marking the company’s entry into automated retail in the country. The rollout aims to make precious metals more accessible to customers while offering flexible purchasing options.
Automated Gold and Silver Purchases at Nile City Towers Mall
The machine allows shoppers to buy a selected range of gold and silver products using payment cards. Customers can purchase gold ingots ranging from 0.25 to 2.5 grams, silver ingots ranging from 5 to 100 grams, and a variety of gold and silver coins.
The installation follows a testing phase that began in 2025. During this trial period, BTC introduced similar vending machines at various locations in Gulf markets alongside an initial test model in Egypt to develop the automated retail system.
