BTS has established a dominant presence on Spotify, the global audio streaming platform, following the release of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG. The group has maintained the top position in two major categories on the platform for three consecutive weeks.

According to Spotify’s weekly charts for the aggregation period of April 3 to April 9, BTS secured the number one spot on both the Weekly Top Album and Weekly Top Song global charts. This marks the third consecutive week the group has topped both metrics.

Streaming Metrics and Track Performance

The streaming data reveals a broad appeal across the entire album. All 14 tracks from ARIRANG appeared on the Weekly Top Song Global chart for three consecutive weeks. Of these, 13 songs reached the top 50, with only the interlude track, No. 29, falling outside the top 50 rankings.

Streaming Metrics and Track Performance

The group’s performance on the Daily Top Song Global chart shows sustained momentum. From March 20 to April 9, the group maintained popularity on this chart for 21 consecutive days. As of April 9, BTS became the artist with the highest number of songs listed on both the daily and weekly Top Song Global charts.

International Chart Performance

Beyond Spotify, the album is performing strongly across various national music charts. In the United Kingdom, the Official Charts announced on April 11 that ARIRANG ranked fifth in the Official Albums Top 100 for the edition covering April 10 to April 16. This represents the third consecutive week the album has entered the top tier of the UK rankings.

The title track, SWIM, reached the 18th position on the Official Single Top 100. Other tracks also charted in the UK, including Body to Body at 72nd place and 2.0 at 94th place. SWIM has held the number one position on the Official Single Sales and Official Single Download charts for three consecutive weeks.

In Japan, the group has seen similar success on the Oricon charts. For the counting period of March 30 to April 5, the song SWIM topped the Weekly Streaming Rankings for two consecutive weeks. BTS is currently the only foreign artist to achieve two consecutive weeks at the top of this chart in 2026.

  • Weekly Sum Album Ranking: 2nd place
  • Weekly Digital Album: 2nd place
  • Weekly Album: 3rd place

The album’s reach extends into Europe as well. On April 10, the new album rose two positions from the previous week to claim the number one spot on the Top 100 Album of the official German music charts (Offizielle Deutsch Charts).
