SEOUL (Yonhap News) — A police investigation into a Japanese woman accused of kissing BTS member Jin, 33, during a fan event last year has been temporarily halted, authorities said Monday.
The Seoul Songpa Police Station stated that the woman, in her 50s, was under investigation for alleged public indecency under the Sexual Violence Punishment Act.However, the investigation has been paused due to the suspect residing abroad, making a timely investigation arduous.

The woman, identified only as “Mr. A” in initial reports, allegedly kissed Jin, leading to accusations of sexual harassment. The incident sparked controversy online after Mr. A reportedly wrote on her blog, “My lips touched my neck. The skin was very soft.”
