BTS RM Shares Heartfelt Reflections After Concert

BTS has officially returned as a full seven-member group, marking a historic reunion after nearly four years apart. The group made their comeback on March 21, 2026, with the BTS THE COMEBACK LIVE | ARIRANG concert, held at Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul.

The event, set against the backdrop of the 600-year-old Gwanghwamun Square, drew approximately 104,000 attendees in person, according to HYBE. The performance was also streamed on Netflix, reaching millions of viewers globally.

RM’s Reflections and Gratitude

Following the conclusion of the concert, group leader RM shared a detailed message on Weverse to reflect on the reunion. He described the experience of the seven members standing together again after four years of waiting as a significant moment in a meaningful space.

RM expressed deep gratitude toward the fans, whom he described as the group’s everything and our greatest pride. He noted that the feeling of hearing the crowd’s cheers fill the square brought an overwhelming sense that the group had finally returned.

RM also issued a public apology to the local residents, merchants, and office workers in the Gwanghwamun area who were affected by the noise and traffic congestion caused by the concert, stating that their patience was essential to the event’s success.

Performance Challenges and Group Support

The comeback performance was marked by a personal challenge for RM, who sustained an ankle injury two days prior to the show. Due to the injury, his movements on stage were partially limited.

Despite the physical limitation, reports indicate that RM’s energy and enthusiasm remained palpable. The other six members—Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—provided full support to ensure RM could participate in the show as much as his health permitted.
