Building Blocks of Integrity: Wenfeng Kindergarten’s Mission to Foster Healthy Growth in Hengshan County

At the beginning of the activity, all faculty and staff carried out the “Big Learning and Big Discussion” activity of educator spirit, inspiring teachers’ love for their jobs and selfless dedication, and fully demonstrating the feelings of kindergarten teachers to respect morality and be kind, and to be role models. After the activity, they jointly signed the “Integrity Commitment”, promising to set an example, teach with integrity, and set a good example for children.
The kindergarten uses the flag-raising ceremony on Monday to hold a “Speech under the National Flag” to explain the meaning of integrity to the children, letting them understand that integrity exists in every aspect of life, all positive behaviors are honest, and many behaviors and habits in life are closely related to integrity, thereby instilling correct moral values of integrity at the ideological level.
The kindergarten integrates the culture of integrity into the campus culture construction, and creates a strong atmosphere of integrity through the creation of integrity theme walls, hanging integrity slogans, and holding integrity story sharing sessions. In addition, a series of entertaining and educational integrity activities are carefully designed in accordance with the age characteristics of young children, such as “Little Hands Pulling Big Hands to Draw Integrity Pictures Together”, “Integrity Little Guards” role-playing games, and environmental protection and garbage classification practice experiences, so that children can feel the beauty of integrity and establish correct values through participation.
The person in charge of the kindergarten said that integrity is not only the bottom line of teachers’ professional ethics, but also the soul of kindergarten culture construction. The kindergarten will integrate the concept of integrity into daily education and teaching through a series of measures, so that every “Wenfeng person” can become a practitioner and disseminator of integrity.
