The Central Election Commission reported that 566 polling stations were operational in the Blagoevgrad electoral region, with voting beginning at 7:00 a.m. Local time and no widespread disruptions recorded by midday.
In the Blagoevgrad electoral district, approximately 400 members of district election commissions were replaced shortly before voting began, according to reports from 24 Chasa. Similar staffing changes were noted in Veliko Tarnovo, where nearly 200 commission members were substituted.
