Bulls Dominate Connacht 28-0 in United Rugby Championship Despite Red Cards
The Vodacom Bulls lead Connacht 28-0 in the BKT United Rugby Championship and have secured a bonus point. Connacht’s number eight, Sean Jensen, received a red card in the 21st minute, placing his team at a disadvantage against the strong South African side.
The Bulls capitalized on their numerical advantage, scoring impressive tries by Sebastian de Klerk and Embrose Papier in the first half. In the second half, they extended their lead with tries from David Kriel and Canan Moodie.
Later in the match, the Bulls received a red card as well. Mpilo Gumede, the Bulls’ number eight, was sent off after making contact with a Connacht player’s eyes while trying to push him away. Referee Mike Adamson had no choice but to give him a red card.
