Upon arrival at the scene, the crew discovered the casualty already in the expert care of Donegal County Council Lifeguards, alongside the dedicated teams from Bundoran Fire Brigade and the National Ambulance service.
Navigating the challenging, restricted location, the lifeboat was instrumental in transferring the injured individual to a safer area, facilitating prompt and efficient medical attention. This collaborative effort underscores the seamless teamwork between various emergency response units.

Staying Safe as Temperatures Rise
With recent warmer weather drawing larger crowds to Bundoran beach, the RNLI is issuing a crucial safety reminder. Enjoying the beautiful coastline is paramount, but it’s essential to be prepared. The RNLI urges everyone to always carry a means of calling for help - a fully charged mobile phone in a waterproof pouch is ideal.
