Burkina Faso: Employers Donate 50 Million‌ FCFA to Support Victims of Barsalogho Attack

The National Council of Employers of Burkinabè (CNPB) has donated ⁣50 million FCFA ⁢to support the efforts of the Burkinabè government in caring for those injured ‍in the Barsalogho attack, which occurred on Saturday,‍ August 24, 2024, in the Center-North region.

According to the⁤ Burkinabè Information Agency (AIB), the amount was paid ‍to the national solidarity fund through the president of Burkina Faso’s employers, Idrissa‌ Nassa.

This gesture ⁤by employers is not the first,⁤ as the CNPB showed solidarity and patriotism by donating 100 million FCFA to the peace effort in February 2019.

The CNPB is organizing a general meeting ‌of the private sector between September 5 and 7, 2024, ⁢in Ouagadougou.
