Burkina Faso: Employers Donate 50 Million FCFA to Support Victims of Barsalogho Attack
The National Council of Employers of Burkinabè (CNPB) has donated 50 million FCFA to support the efforts of the Burkinabè government in caring for those injured in the Barsalogho attack, which occurred on Saturday, August 24, 2024, in the Center-North region.
According to the Burkinabè Information Agency (AIB), the amount was paid to the national solidarity fund through the president of Burkina Faso’s employers, Idrissa Nassa.
This gesture by employers is not the first, as the CNPB showed solidarity and patriotism by donating 100 million FCFA to the peace effort in February 2019.
The CNPB is organizing a general meeting of the private sector between September 5 and 7, 2024, in Ouagadougou.
