Ceremony and Community Participation
The commencement of the season included a ceremony featuring participation from local students. Among those involved were a seventh grader from Beekmantown Middle School and students from CV-TEC.

The ceremony and the organization’s activities in the Plattsburgh area also involve the use of a B-17 bus.
Leadership and Mission
Barrie Finnegan serves as the executive director of the North Country Honor Flight. The New York-based organization is dedicated to honoring veterans through these organized visits to Washington, D.C.
