According to the Busan Fire and Disaster Headquarters on the 30th, at around 3:21 PM that day, a fire of unknown cause broke out on the first floor of a restaurant building in Yeongdo-gu, Busan.

The fire spread to the second floor of the building and then to the ceiling of the ship parts manufacturing plant and ship rope factory behind it.

Ten people inside the building were evacuated due to the fire, and fortunately there were no casualties.

The fire department issued a level 1 fire response at 4:07 p.m., and lifted the level 1 response about 2 hours later, putting out the large fire. The fire was extinguished in about 3 hours.

Police and fire officials will investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of the property damage.
