Cryptocurrency exchange Bybit has committed more than $300,000 to provide earthquake relief and improve access to clean water and medical assistance in Myanmar and Thailand. The donation follows
a 7.7-magnitude earthquake that struck near Mandalay, Myanmar, on March 28.
The earthquake caused widespread damage in central Myanmar and was felt throughout the region,including parts
of Thailand,leaving many communities without essential resources. Bybit’s contribution supports local partners
in delivering critical aid, including emergency supplies, food, clean drinking water, and medical care.
in Myanmar, Bybit is working with Spring Progress Bank, Myan Crypto, ANTS, and bybit Myanmar, in
collaboration with the Sagaing Region Urgent Earthquake Relief Committee. Thes groups are focused on providing
water, food, community outreach, and blockchain-based financial assistance.
In Thailand, Bybit is collaborating with the Thai Red Cross Society, Poh Teck Tung foundation, and Siriraj
Foundation to deliver emergency shelter, healthcare, rescue operations, and long-term recovery support to
affected communities.
