Sebastien Bourdais drove a Jota cadillac V-Series.R LMDh to the fastest time in the first official practice session for the 2025 Le Mans 24 Hours. His lap was onyl about half a second slower than last year’s pole position time, signaling a perhaps record-breaking race.
The Hypercar crews immediately pushed the pace, with Antonio Fuoco initially setting the benchmark in his #51 Ferrari 499P LMH. Fuoco’s early lap time of 3 minutes, 25.302 seconds was nearly a second faster than the best time achieved during Sunday’s test day.
Bourdais ultimately topped fuoco with a lap of 3 minutes, 25.148 seconds near the end of the three-hour session. Kevin Estre followed in third for Porsche, clocking 3 minutes, 25.568 seconds in the #6 963 LMDh. Brendon Hartley secured fourth for Toyota with a time of 3 minutes, 25.702 seconds in the #8 Toyota GR010 HYBRID LMH.
