Little Rock, Arkansas – The Cal Poly wrestling team travels to Little Rock, Arkansas, today, Sunday, February 15, 2026, for its final dual meet of the season against Pac-12 rival Little Rock. The competition is scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM PST.

The match marks the conclusion of the regular season for both teams. Little Rock will also be celebrating Senior Day, with events planned around the dual meet between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM local time. The event will be streamed live on FloWrestling, allowing fans to follow the action remotely.

Cal Poly enters the competition with four nationally ranked wrestlers: Ceasar Garza (#184, ranked 16th), Koda Holeman (#125, ranked 19th), Andre Gonzales (#149, ranked 33rd), and Jagger French (#157, ranked 33rd). Garza, a transfer from Michigan State, has been particularly impressive this season, boasting a 15-2 overall record and a perfect 7-0 record in dual meets, securing three wins by technical fall. Holeman currently leads the Mustangs in takedowns with 27 secured during duals, holding a 16-5 overall record and a 6-2 record in dual meets.

Little Rock, the defending Pac-12 champions, is currently ranked 12th in the InterMat Team Tournament national rankings. They present a formidable lineup with six ranked wrestlers: Stephen Little (#197, ranked 3rd), Matty Bianchi (#165, ranked 5th), Jaivon Jones (#157, ranked 18th), Brock Herman (#149, ranked 20th), Michael Gasper (#285, ranked 31st), and Brennan Van Hoecke (#141, ranked 32nd). Despite their ranking, the Trojans have experienced a mixed season, with a 4-10 dual meet record and a 1-1 record within Pac-12 competition, having lost to Oregon State 29-10 on January 23rd but defeating Cal State Bakersfield 33-17 last Sunday.

This dual meet represents the first action for Cal Poly since a decisive 37-15 victory over Morgan State on February 1st. The competition against Little Rock is anticipated to be a challenging contest, given the Trojans’ status as defending conference champions and their strong roster of ranked athletes. The outcome will likely influence both teams’ preparations for the upcoming Pac-12 Championships.

Fans can follow live updates on Cal Poly wrestling’s Instagram (@cpwrestle) and X/Twitter (@CalPolyWrestle) accounts throughout the dual meet. Tickets for the Pac-12 Championships are also available.

The match takes place against a backdrop of shifting dynamics within the Pac-12 conference, as teams navigate the evolving landscape of collegiate athletics. While the specific implications of this dual meet for the broader conference realignment are not immediately apparent, it represents a key contest for both Cal Poly and Little Rock as they strive for success within their current competitive framework.

Little Rock’s Senior Day celebrations add another layer to the event, acknowledging the contributions of graduating wrestlers and marking a significant moment in their collegiate careers. The dual meet provides an opportunity for these seniors to compete one last time in front of their home crowd and contribute to their team’s final regular season performance.

The competition between Cal Poly and Little Rock is expected to be closely contested, with both teams showcasing their top wrestling talent. The match will serve as a valuable test for both programs as they prepare for the challenges of the Pac-12 Championships and beyond. The result will likely have implications for individual wrestler rankings and seeding within the conference tournament.
