CHICAGO – Cal⁣ Raleigh is on a tear. ‍The seattle Mariners’ slugger leads major League Baseball with 31 home runs, a key factor in the team’s recent series win against the Chicago Cubs.

Over the weekend,⁤ Raleigh blasted four home runs and drove in six runs against the‍ Cubs. In sunday’s 14-6 victory, where he served ⁢as designated hitter,‍ Raleigh had two hits, two walks, and three runs scored. His hot ‍streak includes a .327 batting average with 16 homers⁢ and 34 RBIs in his last 29 games.

Raleigh launched a two-run homer off Colin Rea in ⁤the‍ first inning at Wrigley Field, a 105 mph shot to center ⁢field. He later singled‍ and‍ scored, and walked again in⁤ the eighth, ⁣eventually scoring on Randy Arozarena’s double.
