A San Mateo, CA, man is in legal trouble after allegedly firing at an SUV occupied by three high school students. Craig Miceli, 54, faces multiple felony charges in connection with the incident.

The San Mateo County District Attorney’s ⁣Office⁤ said the incident unfolded after the teens, two age 16 and one age 17, targeted Miceli’s home. The⁢ teens, students at Hillsdale High School, reportedly disliked a female classmate and targeted her home.

According to​ prosecutors, the teens first spread oil on Miceli’s porch​ on Friday. ⁣They returned early Sunday morning to egg the house. Miceli, allegedly angered by‌ the pranks, fired two shots at the teens’ SUV.One bullet struck⁣ the vehicle above the front passenger-side wheel.

Miceli told officers he ‍was already upset about cleaning the oil ​when ⁢the egging occurred. he admitted to‌ grabbing his gun and firing at the SUV’s tires, than disposing of the weapon in⁢ Water‍ Dog Lake.

Police obtained a search warrant and found an illegal ⁣automatic rifle ⁤and ammunition at Miceli’s residence.
