Podcast celebrity Alex Cooper, host of Call Her Daddy, claims she suffered sexual harassment from her Boston University soccer coach, Nancy Feldman. The allegations are featured in Cooper’s new Hulu docuseries, Call Her Alex, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival.
Cooper, 30, attended Boston University from 2013 to 2017 and played Division One soccer for three seasons. In the documentary, she revisits her alma mater, recalling a time of fear and hopelessness. She expressed anger toward her coach, the school, and the system that she says allowed the harassment to occur.

Cooper said Feldman’s actions transformed her love for soccer into something painful.She described how Feldman allegedly fixated on her, making comments about her body and wanting to be alone with her. Cooper claims Feldman would focus on her appearance during tape reviews and make inappropriate comments.
She further alleges that Feldman would touch her thigh and stare at her, making her feel deeply uncomfortable. Cooper felt compelled to comply due to her full-tuition scholarship, fearing she would lose it if she didn’t follow feldman’s “rules.”
Feldman, hired in 1995, retired in 2022 after building Boston University’s women’s soccer program into a competitive team. Representatives for Feldman and Boston University have been contacted for comment.

Call Her Alex documents Cooper’s journey to her first live tour and her evolution from a Pennsylvania kid to the voice of Call Her Daddy. Cooper hopes her story will inspire others to come forward and share their experiences,believing that conversation is essential for change.
“I felt a lot of anger — anger at my coach, anger at my school, and anger at the system that allowed this to happen.”
Cooper acknowledged her fear of retaliation but emphasized her commitment to using her platform to inspire others. The documentary premieres Tuesday on Hulu.
