Montreal—A late-race collision between McLaren teammates Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri marred the Canadian Grand Prix, handing George Russell his first victory of the season.The incident occurred with only four laps remaining as Norris attempted to overtake Piastri on the pit straight.
The contact sent Norris out of the race. Piastri managed to continue, finishing fourth behind Russell, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen, and Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli. The race concluded under a safety car.
