George Russell of Mercedes recorded the fourth-fastest time, followed by Lewis Hamilton of Ferrari. Isack Hadjar of Racing Bulls and Lando Norris of McLaren rounded out the top drivers on the demanding track. The session highlighted the challenges posed by the track’s conditions.
Norris, who finished 12th, had several moments where he nearly lost control.
