This year, the campaign expands vaccine availability to more children and offers the intranasal vaccine to those under 15 with risk factors, aiming to increase coverage and improve health outcomes for these groups.
Vaccine Availability and Types
The SCS has procured 267,000 doses of influenza vaccines, ensuring sufficient supply to meet the needs of the targeted populations. This year, five different types of flu vaccines will be available, offering tailored protection based on individual health status and age.
Abián Montesdeoca highlighted the importance of expanding the vaccine offer to younger children and the availability of the intranasal vaccine for at-risk children under 15,predicting a positive impact on both their health and the health of those around them.
