The promotional tour, which included stops in Saudi Arabia and las Vegas, hit new York City with both fighters participating in interviews and a news conference at Fanatics Fest. Turki Alalshikh,a key figure in making the fight happen,posted a photo of himself dining with Alvarez and Crawford,which drew criticism from fans who felt it was inappropriate for opponents to appear kind before a fight.
