Young Artist Issam Omar Makes ‌a Statement at the Venice International Film Festival

Young artist Issam Omar appeared on ⁢the red carpet with a pin bearing ⁢the ⁤Palestinian flag during the‍ screening of his film ⁤”Searching for a Way Out⁣ for Mr. Rambo” at the Venice International Film Festival.

Issam Omar shared a photo of himself on the red carpet with a Palestinian flag pin⁢ on Instagram and commented: “Best photo of my life because Palestine is in it.”

The⁢ creators of the ⁢film “Searching for‍ a Way ⁢Out for Mr. Rimbaud” appeared in the‌ first⁤ special screening of the work within the Horizonti Extra program at the ⁢81st Venice International Film Festival.

The team, including ⁤director and⁢ writer Khaled Mansoor, producers Mohammad Hefzi and Rasha Hosni, and stars Isam Omar, Rakin Saad, Ahmed Baha, and Sama Ibrahim, were eager to‍ take the⁣ dog​ “Rambo” on⁢ the ⁢red carpet ‍and take souvenir photos with them in a formal suit.

The film, which is in the genre of drama, revolves​ around ​Hassan,⁣ a young man in his thirties who rediscovers himself and saves his dog. Forced to ​face ​the fear of his past and his only ⁤friend “Rambo” ‌falls ⁣into an unknown fate after he is ⁢involved ‌in a serious accident through no⁤ fault of his, and is chased overnight by Karem, Hassan’s⁤ neighbors and everyone ‍in the neighborhood.

The⁣ film’s⁣ journey ‍spanned more⁣ than⁣ 8 years between preparation and filming, and the Venice Film Festival marked the first stop to officially screen the ​film.
