What is the RECALL Platform?

The automobile Association of Portugal (ACAP) has launched an online platform, RECALL, designed to help vehicle owners determine if their car is subject to any outstanding recall actions issued by manufacturers. How to Use the RECALL Platform

The platform is free to use and requires only a few simple steps:

1. Visit the RECALL platform.
2. Enter either the vehicle’s registration number or its vehicle Identification Number (VIN).
3. The platform will display any active recall actions associated with the vehicle.

If a recall is identified,the vehicle owner should contact an authorized dealer of the brand to schedule free repairs. It’s significant to note that a negative result on the platform doesn’t guarantee the vehicle will never be subject to a recall; manufacturers may issue new recalls in the future.
