Two people sustained ⁣injuries Saturday afternoon when a car crashed into a Dollar Tree store in ‍Milford, Delaware. The Milford Police Department is investigating the incident,which occured ‍at the Cypress ⁤Hall Shopping Center.

According to police reports, a 44-year-old woman driving a gold Hyundai elantra veered ⁢off South DuPont ‍Boulevard around 3:25 p.m. For reasons still under ⁢investigation, the vehicle struck the front of the Dollar Tree.

Inside the store, the car hit a 97-year-old woman. authorities airlifted her to a hospital, where she ⁣remains in stable but ⁣critical condition. Crash debris also injured a 76-year-old, who received hospital treatment and has since been ⁢released, police said.
