Caracas Avenue in Crisis: Residents Demand Urgent Repairs to Endangering Road

Drivers and users of Caracas Avenue in El Limón, one of the main road arteries of the municipality of Mario Briceño Iragorry in Aragua, are worried about the advanced state of deterioration that the road presents.
They ensured that, with the passage of time, the small holes that had already been seen reached dimensions similar to craters, into which a vehicle can easily fall, especially when it rains.
“In many cases, drivers have to leave the road to the other side to avoid suffering the damage it causes to the tires and the cushioning system,” said Eduardo Carmona, a neighbor.
For his part, Luis Olivetti, a merchant in the area, mentioned that they had reported the case – on several occasions – to the municipal authorities, “but so far they have not done anything.”
They insist that the road situation has worsened, to the point that public transport drivers have to take alternative routes.
“We are sending an appeal to the national and state governments to address, once and for all, this problem presented by the route that welcomes the town,” said Laura Díaz, merchant.
