The 2025 ASCAP Rhythm & Soul Music Awards celebrated top songwriters and publishers in Beverly Hills, California, with Cardi B and OZ among the leading honorees.The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) recognized the achievements of its members in a ceremony on June 8.
Cardi B received the ASCAP Voice of the Culture Award, presented by Nicole George-Middleton, for her significant influence on music and culture. She also won a Rhythm & Soul Award for her song “Enough (Miami).”
OZ was named Songwriter of the Year for his work on hits such as Drake’s “first Person Shooter,” Jack Harlow’s “Lovin On Me,” and Travis Scott’s “I KNOW ?.” His work has substantially shaped the sound of contemporary rap and R&B.

In the gospel category, CeCe Winans’ “That’s My King,” co-writen by Taylor agan and Kellie Besch, was named ASCAP Gospel Song of the Year.
Sony Music Publishing was named Publisher of the Year for its work on top songs including Shaboozey’s “A Bar Song (Tipsy),” “Saturn,” “Texas Hold ‘Em,” and “Made for Me.”
