Several major events and ongoing work will impact traffic flow and transit services,so let’s break down what you need to know to navigate the city smoothly.
Major Road Closures and Restrictions
Several key routes will experience critically important disruptions,with some streets wholly closed and others restricted to local traffic only.
Full Road closures
Be prepared for complete closures on the following streets:
Lake Shore Boulevard West between British Columbia Road and ontario Drive
The westbound Gardiner Expressway off-ramp at Dunn Avenue
Streets Restricted to Local Traffic Only
To facilitate local access and manage traffic, the following streets will be restricted:
Dufferin Street south of King Street West
Dowling Avenue south of King Street West
Stadium Road south of lake shore boulevard West
Queens Quay West, west of Bathurst street
Springhurst Avenue, east and west of Jameson Avenue
Remembrance Drive
Parking Enforcement and Towing
Authorities are emphasizing strict parking enforcement in specific areas. Illegally parked vehicles, including tour buses, will be tagged and towed without exception. This applies to:
Lake Shore boulevard West (including the grassed areas)
Bathurst Street
Fleet Street
King Street West
Queen Street West
Roncesvalles Avenue
Dufferin Street
The Queensway
The Parkdale area
Stadium Road

TTC Route Diversions
Several TTC routes will be affected by these closures. Here’s a detailed look at the diversions:
503 Kingston Road (Saturday 8 a.m. to Sunday 1 a.m.)
The 503 Kingston Road streetcars will have their routes extended to Sunnyside Loop on King Street West and The Queensway.Please note that stops on Dufferin Street between King Street West and Dufferin Gate Loop will not be served during this period.
29/329/929 Dufferin (Saturday 12 a.m. to sunday 4 a.m.)
The 29, 329, and 929 Dufferin bus routes will turn back north from Dufferin gate Loop. Consequently, Exhibition Place will not be accessible via these routes.
307 Bathurst Night Bus (Saturday 12 a.m. to Sunday 4 a.m.)
The 307 Bathurst night buses will operate on a modified route, running both ways on Bathurst Street, Fort York Boulevard, Fleet Street, Manitoba Drive, and Exhibition Loop. Stops that will not be served include Fort York Boulevard south of Fleet Street, Lake Shore boulevard West, and Strachan Avenue.
80 Queensway (Saturday 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.)
The 80 Queensway buses will be diverted eastbound only on The Queensway. the route will then proceed north on Roncesvalles Avenue, west on Howard Park Avenue, and north on Parkside Drive to resume its regular route. The northbound Parkside Drive stops between Howard Park Avenue and The Queensway will not be served.
