Volkswagen’s California⁢ Festival Returns in 2025, Celebrates Combi Anniversary

Volkswagen is set to ‍host its⁤ California Festival from July‌ 4-6, 2025, ⁤at Lake Aureilhan in the landes region of ‍France.this year’s⁤ event will ‍commemorate the 75th anniversary ‌of the iconic Combi‌ van and the debut of the new California model.

The festival, held ⁣at the Huttopia ‌Lac d’Aureilhan campsite near‍ Mimizan, ​promises a weekend immersed​ in nature, filled with entertainment ‍and⁤ activities for van‌ enthusiasts.

Activities ⁣and⁤ Entertainment Planned

Volkswagen ⁤has‍ released ‍initial details about the festival’s program, which includes live ⁣concerts, interactive ‌activities, and a test drive center showcasing the Volkswagen Utility vehicle range. A village of exhibitors ​will also be ‌present.

Specific activities include “100%⁣ Vanlife” cooking lessons,‍ workshops on optimizing van ‍space, ⁤decorative workshops, and a dedicated children’s club.

The last edition had 300 participating⁤ crews. The 2025 festival increases the level at 450 vans.
