Casey Bloys has named his senior content leadership team for Skydance DTC, installing a roster of executives from his tenure at HBO and HBO Max to run the combined streaming operation. The announcement on October 23, 2026, follows the process of combining HBO Max and Paramount+ and places content oversight for both platforms under familiar leadership.
Executives Retained Across Both Platforms
Bloys laid out the structure in an internal memo, confirming that Francesca Orsi has been promoted to President, HBO Drama Series and Films. Orsi will work alongside Bloys to determine which drama projects fit the HBO brand. Amy Gravitt continues as EVP, HBO Programming, Head of HBO & HBO Max Comedy Series, while Nancy Abraham and Lisa Heller remain Co-EVPs, HBO Documentary Programming. Nina Rosenstein stays on as EVP of HBO late-night and specials programming.
Casey Bloys‘ new role at a new company comes with a new contract too. Deadline has confirmed that Bloys, named earlier today Co-Chair and Chief Content Officer, Skydance DTC, has signed a multi-year extension to his current Warner Bros. Discovery contract, which runs though end…
Expanding their duties across both streaming platforms, Glenn Whitehead steps in as President & COO, HBO and Paramount+, overseeing business affairs, production, operations, and artificial intelligence initiatives. Jeff Cusson assumes the role of EVP and Head of Communications, Skydance DTC, managing global communications strategy, publicity, events, talent relations, and awards with a shared reporting line to JB Perrette and Melissa Zukerman.
Paramount+ Originals Leadership Shift
The executive consolidation brings a leadership change for Paramount+. Jane Wiseman is exiting her position as EVP and Head of Originals for Paramount+, following former Direct-to-Consumer head Cindy Holland out of the company. Wiseman’s team will now report to Sarah Aubrey. Aubrey expands her remit to serve as Head of Paramount+, Max Originals and International Programming, positioning her to align Paramount+ with HBO Max ahead of their eventual full combination.

In a memo to staff on Friday, Bloys noted that running two streaming platforms with original programming will require great collaboration and a team mentality. He added that the opportunity lying in front of them is huge and that, with the staff’s skills and commitment, they will no doubt excel.
Transition Period and Future Streaming Roadmap
The leadership appointments mark the initial phase of integrating HBO Max and Paramount+ into a single platform. Skydance CEO David Ellison previously outlined a short-term phase where the two services will co-exist as separate-but-bundled offerings for a transition period expected to last one to two years. Bloys emphasized in his memo that the multi-platform structure is designed to maintain momentum for both services while giving the creative community clear definitions on where different programming resides.

Bloys also acknowledged departing executive Jane Wiseman in his communication to staff, praising her work on the Paramount+ development slate. Wiseman oversaw 28 new series pickups and 16 renewals during her tenure, including titles such as Landman
and Dutton Ranch,
and has offered to assist with the executive transition.
