The⁣ Cashmere Fund, a venture ⁤capital fund targeting both retail and institutional investors,​ is ‍collaborating with Apex Clearing Corporation, ⁢a ⁢subsidiary‌ of Apex⁢ Fintech Solutions Inc. The partnership aims to broaden access to venture⁣ capital investment opportunities.

Cashmere Fund operates as an evergreen ‌fund, accepting new investments daily with a⁣ $500 minimum. Since ⁣its inception, the fund has invested ⁣in​ over 35 companies,‌ targeting high-growth areas including consumer goods, consumer⁤ technology, financial technology (fintech), health technology, and software. The fund ⁤anticipates ⁣expanding its distribution network throughout 2025.

Elia ‍Infascelli,‌ partner and CEO of The Cashmere Fund, said the alliance will allow the fund to reach more investors, scaling‌ its assets to further support aspiring companies and entrepreneurs. “We are⁣ bringing venture capital⁣ to retail investors through our highly accessible fund structure,” Infascelli said.

The fund focuses primarily on early and growth-stage companies,including​ growth-stage secondaries. It provides liquidity through semi-annual redemption‍ windows and annual distributions.

Launched in 2022 ‌by Sweater Ventures, the fund is‍ led by portfolio ⁣managers Infascelli and Mary Owen, along ‍with partners Josh Feine, Bruce Popko, and Ari Schottenstein. It currently has over⁢ 5,000 investors.

In⁢ 2024, Forma Cashmere, LLC, an affiliate of venture investor Forma Capital and a registered investment advisor, became ‌the fund’s sub-advisor, managing fundraising, marketing,⁢ and capital deployment. Sweater Ventures continues to oversee ⁣investor relations, compliance, and asset valuation.
