Montreal Canadiens forward Cole Caufield took advantage of the NHL off-season with a relaxing golf outing at the exclusive ohoopee Match Club in Cobbtown, Georgia. He was joined by teammate Chris Wideman and friend Michael Smith for a round at the walking-only course known for its match-play format.
Caufield, who played all 82 games this season, tallied 37 goals and 33 assists, accumulating 70 points.The Canadiens, finishing 40-31-11, secured a playoff berth as a wild card but were eliminated by the Washington capitals in the first round.
Reflecting on the season, Caufield addressed his evolving leadership role within the team. “I don’t think there’s, you know, you’d say that,” Caufield said. “I think it’s just growing as a leader,um,as,as a teammate. So I think I just want to, you know, keep helping the group, keep pushing the group.”
