A magnitude 5 earthquake was recorded at 09.31, with the epicenter in Pazarcık, according to the information on the website of the Presidency of Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD). The earthquake occurred at a depth of 7 kilometers and was also felt in Gaziantep, Adana, and Osmaniye.

Statement from the Governor of Kahramanmaraş
