CCP Deputy Commander Deng Zhiping Secretly Arrested and Fired

Deng Zhiping, the deputy commander of the Communist Chinese Army, was dismissed from his post as a representative of the National People’s Congress on September 13. Officials stated that Deng was arrested by the military on June 6 this year on suspicion of “serious violations of discipline and laws.”

The Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China issued an announcement on September 13, revealing the dismissal of four deputies to the National People’s Congress. They are: Xu Zuo, Tian Cheng, Li Shangfu, and Deng Zhiping. Additionally, Xu Hong, the former mayor of Xinyu City, Jiangxi Province, resigned as a deputy to the National People’s Congress.

Deng Zhiping’s Secret Arrest and Dismissal

Among the four people dismissed, the military representative was Li Shangfu, a former member of the Central Military Commission, State Councilor, and Minister of Defense of the Communist Party of China. Deng Zhiping, a lieutenant general of the Chinese Communist Army, participated in border operations twice in the 1980s and held various positions, including minister of military affairs of the former headquarters of the Chengdu Military Region, deputy commander and chief of staff of the 14th Army Group, and deputy military commander of the Army Group.

In January 2016, Deng Zhiping was appointed vice chief of staff of the Western Theater Command, and in March 2021, he was appointed deputy commander of the army. On September 13, after the Chinese Communist Party announced the removal of Deng Zhiping from the post of deputy of the National People’s Congress, the National People’s Congress of the Communist Party of China released a report stating that “Deng Zhiping, the former deputy commander of the army, was suspected of serious violations of discipline and law” and was dismissed from his position as a representative of the 14th National People’s Congress to the Military People’s Congress on June 6, 2024.

CCP’s Large-Scale Purge and Disappearance of Senior Officials

After the case of the Rocket Force hideout was exposed, the CCP military launched a large-scale purge storm, and a large number of senior officials, including CCP Defense Minister Li Shangfu and all three commanders of the Rocket Force Li Yuchao, Zhou Yaning, and Wei Fenghe, were dismissed. Among them, Wei Fenghe and Li Shangfu were the two defense ministers.

Rumors are circulating that a large number of senior officials in the military industrial system have been “missing.” Their status as deputies to the National People’s Congress or members of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference has been removed. Only the outside world can confirm that something has happened to these people.

Wang Youqun, a former official of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China, recently released a document detailing the number of senior officials in the military industry who are “missing.”

Several high-ranking officials, including Wu Yansheng, Liu Shiquan, and Wang Changqing, were removed from the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference on December 27 last year. Chen Ximing was appointed chairman and party secretary of the China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation on April 12 this year, replacing Yuan Jie, whose dismissal was not announced by the CCP media.

Zhang Yujin was appointed as the general manager and deputy party secretary of China Ordnance Equipment Group on April 12, replacing Chen Guoying, who has been “disappeared” for over a year.
