CeeDee Lamb reaches 20-target threshold in Dallas Cowboys week four game

NFL Week 4 target data reveals major shifts in team offensive hierarchies across the league, with Dallas Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb topping the 20-target threshold for the first time in his career. Lamb secured 17 receptions for a 49 percent target share during the game, pushing his season-long target share to 32 percent.

CeeDee Lamb Commands Dallas Offense While George Pickens Sees Season Low

Lamb’s heavy volume came largely at the expense of teammate George Pickens. Pickens finished the contest with a season-low three targets, though he salvaged his fantasy day by hauling in two of them for 75 receiving yards. While that massive target disparity will likely level out over the course of the season, Lamb has established himself as the clear primary wide receiver in Dallas.

Cincinnati Bengals Feature Dohnte Meyers and Tee Higgins Amid Injury Absences

With Ja’Marr Chase playing just 20 percent of offensive snaps in Week 4 after leaving with a concussion, Tee Higgins stepped into the lead role with 16 targets and 11 receptions. Chase Brown also contributed heavily with 11 targets and 11 receptions. Meanwhile, Grey Cup champion Dohnte Meyers drew nine targets and caught seven passes. Because Higgins suffered a late-game injury alongside Chase’s concussion, both starting Cincinnati wide receivers could miss time, placing Meyers squarely on the radar for upcoming matchups.

Tetairoa McMillan and Carnell Tate Lead Rookie Pass Catchers

Tetairoa McMillan established a new career-high with 16 targets in Week 4, bumping his season average to 9.8 targets per game in the absence of Jalen Coker. His 41 percent target share fueled a top wide receiver performance for the week. In Tennessee, rookie Carnell Tate caught nine of his 12 targets, marking a new career high. Tate’s 32 targets lead all rookies through four weeks of the NFL season.

Tight End Workloads Shift in Minnesota and Los Angeles

Tight end T.J. Hockenson hauled in all 13 of his targets in Week 4, matching his combined total from the first three games of the season. Jordan Addison managed just six targets despite expectations of an expanded role with Justin Jefferson sidelined. In Los Angeles, Kyren Williams reached a career-high 13 targets, catching 10 passes, while Puka Nacua returned from injury to secure 12 targets and nine receptions.
