Search Continues for Missing French Woman in Guatemala
Guatemalan authorities continue too search for Céline Cremer, a 31-year-old French woman who disappeared on January 26, 2024, near the town of San Juan La Laguna, Sololá. Investigators have recovered additional remains and clothing believed to belong to Cremer, according to The Telegraph.
cremer was last seen while on a hike. The search, involving Guatemalan police, firefighters, and community members, is focused on a ravine near Lake Atitlán.
On January 31, 2024, authorities reported finding more items linked to Cremer, but have not yet confirmed if they are human remains. The investigation is ongoing.
The French Embassy in Guatemala is providing consular assistance to Cremer’s family.
