Celtic Eye Patrick Bamford After Fofana Rejection
After David Datro Fofana rejected a loan move to Celtic in favor of Charlton Athletic, Celtic have reportedly contacted free agent Patrick Bamford about a possible move. This comes as Celtic have also been linked with another former Premier League striker, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Patrick Bamford to Celtic?
stephen McGowan of The Herald reports that Celtic have made contact with English forward Patrick Bamford regarding a potential move. Bamford was recently released from his contract with Leeds United by mutual consent.
With the Europa League squad deadline fast approaching,Celtic are running out of time to register a new striker. The deadline is tonight (Tuesday) at 11 p.m.
Bamford, now 31, has one England cap. During his time with Leeds,he scored 60 goals in 205 appearances. However,manager Daniel Farke informed him that he was not part of the club’s future plans.
Is Kelechi Iheanacho Pursuit Under Threat?
Celtic have reportedly been trying to sign former Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho after his release from Sevilla.
Iheanacho previously played under Brendan Rodgers at Leicester City, where he enjoyed some of his best football.
However, Celtic’s pursuit of Iheanacho may face further complications. According to Turkish publication Samsun Newspaper, Samsunspor are also interested in signing the Nigerian striker. Additionally,clubs from Saudi Arabia have also been linked with Iheanacho.
