Murray, known for his role in One Tree Hill, recently opened up to People magazine about the heartwarming experience of reuniting with Lohan after two decades.
“The possibility to see someone that, gosh — even though we’ve been in and out each other’s lives, we’ve still known each other 20-something years, right?” Murray shared. “And to watch growth,and to see her with her little boy,and to meet her husband and just to share those experiences now that we’re grown adults,it’s really special. Ther’s something very full circle about all these moments.”
The on-screen reunion has sparked a wave of nostalgia, prompting Murray to consider future collaborations with Lohan. “if we had the opportunity [to work together again], it’d be great,” he said, even suggesting a holiday film where their families coudl join them on set.
The timing couldn’t be more fitting. Both stars are currently celebrating the release of their respective Netflix Christmas movies — Murray’s The Merry Gentlemen and Lohan’s Our little Secret — which premiered just a week apart this November.
