Nationals Place Andrew Chafin on IL, Recall Ryan Loutos

The Washington Nationals are making roster adjustments. Left-handed pitcher Andrew Chafin was placed on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to Wednesday, due to a right hamstring strain.
To fill Chafin’s spot, the Nationals recalled right-hander Ryan loutos from Triple-A Rochester. Loutos, 26, was acquired off waivers from the Los Angeles Dodgers and afterward optioned to Rochester.
Chafin,34,has pitched in 16 games for Washington this season,recording a 3.18 ERA with no decisions.
loutos has a 2.75 ERA with three saves in 19 ⅔ innings across three Triple-A teams. He also pitched in two games for the Dodgers this year, allowing five runs on four hits in three innings.
