Beauty was the subject at the Bronner Bros.Inaugural Beauty Icon Awards, which celebrated Black Beauty’s legacy and future with awards to the likes of Chaka Khan (Legend of Style & Soul Award), Derek J (Fearless Award), Danessa Myricks (Beauty Innovator Award) and more. The celeb carpet was lit at the Bronner Center of Performing Arts in Atlanta with a host of names, including Beyond the Gates‘ Keith D. Robinson and Ambyr Michelle, music legend Da Brat, style maven and television personality Marlo Hampton, actress Nzingha Imani, and The Real housewives of Atlanta star Shamea Morton, to name a few. The night was hosted by social personality Big Sexy, who made sure it was a memorable occasion.
