The Birth of Champ

Champ was first introduced as a cough and cold medicine in 1993. In 2012, Dong-A Pharmaceutical launched the first pouch-type children’s fever reducer in Korea, making it easier for parents to administer medication to their children. The current 5mL stick pouch type was introduced in 2016, designed with the single dose of the main consumption age group in mind.

Expanding the Champ Lineup

Dong-A Pharmaceutical has since launched several new products under the Champ brand, including:

Champ syrup contains acetaminophen as its main ingredient and can be taken by children from 4 months of age. Champ Ibufen, on the other hand, contains ibuprofen and can be taken by children from 12 months of age.
