The 5-6-7 candidates were present at a public meeting with leaders of the Labor Party/Mauritian Military Movement/New Democratic Alliance in Nord village near SSS Lady Sushil Ramgollam.
Key figures in attendance included Navin Ramgoolam, Paul Bérenger, Richard Duval, and Ashok Subron of Rezistans ek Alternativ, a new ally who joined the named Alliance.
Supporters and sympathizers of the four political parties learned that Rezistans ek Alternativ is demanding a ticket for Kugan Parapen.
However, the question of where Navin Ramgoolam will ultimately be a candidate remained unanswered for electorate No. 5, location of political activity, and location No. 10.
Several pressing issues were discussed by the dozen speakers, including scandals, broken promises, the horse racing industry, lack of water for irrigation, food safety, democracy, and the Senedd.
Rajen Narshighen emphasized the need for change in the country’s politics and the importance of having an effective team in power to drive this change.
Future plans include a meeting at No. 8 and a demonstration in front of the MBC site to ensure that the media outlet does not favor the government during the next election campaign.
