The Late Ehab Galal: A Tribute to an Egyptian Football ⁤Coach

A Career Marked by Perseverance⁣ and Passion

The measure of success in ⁤football is ⁤not always about the victories and titles achieved, but‍ about the impact one leaves on the sport. Ehab Galal, a renowned Egyptian coach, embodied this spirit throughout his illustrious⁢ career, which spanned over ‍three decades.

Galal’s journey in ⁣football began as a player, where he donned the jerseys of various clubs in Egypt’s Suez ⁤Canal Governorate, including Al-Ismaili, Al-Masri Club in Port Said, and Al-Qanat. He retired from football in 2004,‌ but his love for the sport only‌ grew ⁣stronger.

After hanging up his boots, Galal transitioned into coaching, ⁣starting with‍ obscure clubs in the lower divisions.⁢ His hard work and dedication eventually earned ⁤him a⁤ spot⁤ as the technical director of the Egyptian national team,⁢ a position he held with‍ great pride.

Galal’s coaching career was marked‍ by several notable stints, including his time at Al-Maqassa, where he led the team to second place ⁣in the Egyptian league in 2017 and qualified them ‍for the African Champions League. He also coached Zamalek, Al-Ahly ‌Tripoli, and Al-Masri‍ Al-Port Saidi, among others.
