Sam MacGregor and Danni Diston will cover his afternoon slot until September, when Katie Thistleton returns from maternity leave to rejoin Laing.
This follows a recent shake-up where Laing was temporarily joined by his wife, Sophie Habboo. At the same time, social media personality GK Barry joined the lineup. Barry’s summer stint as the weekend afternoon host begins this Saturday.
The summer schedule also includes greg James’ Breakfast show running for an extra 30 minutes each weekday from July 21 until September. Tskenya Frazer will co-host Life Hacks with Lauren layfield for July, following a accomplished run during the 2024 Christmas Takeover. She will then swap with DJ Yinka Bokinni for August.
